After completing my masters in Physics, I had the opportunity to participate in Work Based Learning program at Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (S.A.M.E.E.R.) Mumbai in Medical System Development department. This program provided an exceptional learning experience, significantly enhancing my research and technical skills in data collection and analysis, Monte Carlo Simulation programming for data visualization, and technical documentation. Through the assigned project, I gained proficiency in GEANT4 (geometry and tracking) MC simulation software, used for particle simulations to study radioisotope production via electron linear accelerators for medical applications. I am fortunate to have an incredibly talented mentor who has helped me learn new tools and develop valuable skills. I’m sure these skills will be useful in my future career.
