About

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous scientific body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India and has its presence at 53 locations across India, which are offering Degree/Diploma and Skill Oriented courses in the area of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). NIELIT is delivering industry-oriented quality education and training programmes in various relevant and emerging areas including Hardware, Cyberlaw, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IT, GIS, Blockchain, Electronic System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), e-Governance and related verticals. The SC/ST students are also benefitted as the training for such candidates is provided free of cost under various schemes of MeitY mostly in Tier-II /III cities NIELIT is also working hard to become the talent enabler to support the vision of the Government, poising India to become a Trillion-dollar digital economy by the next decade, as the next decade is going to be the tech-ade for India. NIELIT is also one of the National Examination Body conducting national level examinations.
