5 Piyush Bagade Being part of the Work-Based Learning (WBL) program at NIELIT Aurangabad has been an incredibly transformative experience. As an intern, I am currently engaged in developing hybrid systems that combine Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Embedded Technologies. This multidisciplinary work is helping me bridge the gap between software intelligence and hardware implementation. Guided by expert mentors, I am gaining valuable hands-on experience in areas such as sensor data processing, model optimization for edge deployment, and real-time system integration. These tasks have strengthened my technical foundation while enhancing my ability to design efficient, hardware-compatible AI models. The internship has provided me with deep insight into the end-to- end development cycle — from data acquisition and model training to hardware interfacing and performance evaluation. This experience is shaping me into a well-rounded engineer capable of innovating at the intersection of AI and embedded systems
