I, Zainab Banoo, am a postgraduate in Master of Computer Applications from the University of Ladakh, currently pursuing a Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program at NIELIT Kargil. This program has provided me with valuable hands- on experience in Python programming, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.During my training, I have been deeply engaged in developing AI- driven solutions, including a real-time helmet detection system using deep learning techniques aimed at improving road safety. This experience has strengthened my technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and research acumen.Under the mentorship of Mr. Mohammad Hussain, I have nurtured my passion for harnessing technology, particularly AI and IoT, to create innovative and socially impactful projects. I had the privilege of completing my internship in Solar Technology at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). This internship provided me with an excellent opportunity to gain in- depth knowledge and practical exposure in the field of renewable energy, particularly solar power systems and their real-world applications. During the internship, I learned about the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as the principles of energy conversion, solar radiation measurement, and system efficiency analysis. The hands-on training sessions and workshops helped me understand both the theoretical and practical aspects of solar energy technologies. The faculty and mentors at NIELIT were highly knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to ensuring that every trainee developed strong technical and analytical skills. Their guidance helped me enhance my understanding of sustainable energy solutions and the importance of renewable technologies in addressing global energy challenges. This internship not only improved my technical abilities but also strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, and project management skills.
